"Just eat less and move more!" they said.
Are you tired of hearing that???
Here's how simple they are making weight loss sound:
Eat fewer calories than you are burning
calories in 🍔🥤 < calories burned 🔥🏃♀️
🍔🥤= calories you eat/drink
🔥= calories burned by your metabolism
🏃♀️= calories burned by extra activity (exercise)
If weight loss was just a matter of burning more calories than you eat (or eating fewer calories than you burn), my weight loss would have been linear. But as you can see in my weight graph, I experienced weight spikes while in my calorie deficit! I didn’t eat more calories or move less at any point... So why did my weight at times go UP??
At times, I was experiencing fluctuations beyond just calories in or calories out...
What about hormones? What about my age? What about stress?? What about food quality??
Here's how complicated the equation actually is... (and this isn't the half of it!!)

As you can see, there are some factors out of our control (we can't tell our adrenal glands to calm down... or menopause to stop... or our boss to get a grip!). But look at what we CAN control:
🍎 Nutrition (balance and quality, which will help regulate quantity)
🚶♀️Exercise (walking is SO good!!)
🧘♀️ Stress management (regulate how we respond to our environment)
When we dial your nutrition in together... know that is a huge piece of the puzzle! When you are working with a competent, educated, experienced coach, TRUST THE PROCESS!!
At FoodFlip, better nutrition isn't about chasing the perfect diet and forcing yourself to follow it... it’s understanding your current eating habits and committing to a 1% improvement.
Focus on a 1% improvement in these three areas—
nutrition (eat balanced nutrition of ✨mostly✨ whole foods),
exercise (start walking!), and
stress management (take a deep breath, hug someone you love, and know your self-worth doesn't ride on this moment, your performance, or other's opinions)
—and watch how soooo many other issues resolve!! Start with simple, small changes, and with consistency and time, you'll look back and see how far you've come!
