I'm Michelle, the Founder and Coach of FoodFlip, and I am so excited you are here.

To say that helping people with their nutrition brings me joy is the understatement of all understatements.
Supporting professionals, busy parents, and go-getters transform their energy, health, body, and self-confidence through easy, affordable, time-saving meal prep. That's what I do!
That’s what lights me up every single day.
How it started
A few years ago, I was working as a personal trainer, spending hours with clients every week. My clients were giving it their ALL during our training sessions, but I started noticing a pattern: despite all that hard work, the full transformation they wanted to see just wasn’t happening. Why? They were doing so well one hour a day during their session... but what about the other 23 hours in a day?
In 2020, I realized there was so much more to health than exercise alone.
I saw this clearly when I started bodybuilding and watched my own body transform. The biggest change? My nutrition and meal prep.
Not only did my body change, but so did my self-confidence.
I began to show up differently. How I walked into a room changed. I started to believe again that anything was possible.
BUT—getting there wasn’t easy. I was tracking every gram of food in MyFitnessPal. It was tedious, time-consuming, and had me asking myself: Is all this tracking, frustration, and 100% "perfect" food really necessary?
I knew there had to be a better way to reach my goals—one that didn’t require tracking every bite, missing out on life’s special moments, or sacrificing enjoying my favorite “party foods” (hello chocolate!!)
That’s where FoodFlip was born: to help others see incredible progress without losing out on the moments that matter.

When I helped FoodFlippers get the life they wanted, I knew I found where I'm meant to be, what I'm made to do, and who I want to do it with!

It was a journey getting here:
2018: Graduated with a BSc in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University (TAMU).
2019: Started my private practice as a fitness coach and personal trainer.
2019–2022: Coached through the pandemic... that was a whirlwind!
2020: Started 1:1 nutrition coaching (Let's talk soon about how FoodFlip has helped my clients get better results than this 1:1 coaching!)
2021: First spoke my dream of studying nutrition aloud (shoutout to Virginia Hamilton at Jackson St. Park for her encouragement!) A year later, it became a reality.
2022: Returned to TAMU to study Nutrition—a journey that I consider a true miracle.
2023: Applied my learning by:
✈️ Presenting at a conference in Spain 🇪🇸 in March.
💪 Competing in a National NPC Body Building show in December.
2024:
🍎 January: Founded FoodFlip!
✈️ July: Traveled to Japan, and yep! Took the FoodFlippers with me (virtually) on this culinary adventure! 🍣 🍱 🍜
🎓 October: Completed my MSc in Nutrition from TAMU! WHOOP!
NOW: PhD student in Nutrition learning all about evidence-based nutrition!
📚Evidence-Based Nutrition
I’m now in my third year of grad school, learning evidence-based nutrition with the best of the best, Dr. Bradley Johnston. My training has taught me how to critically assess nutrition studies, from evaluating study quality and risk of bias to determining whether the results are truly meaningful.
This rigorous approach means I can follow solid science, not just trends.
